This year the Midview Endowment is awarding three scholarships, two from the Midview Scholarship Fund and one from the Filipiak Family Scholarship Fund. Please use the 2022 Scholarship Application to apply for all scholarships.
2022 Midview Schools Endowment ScholarshipIn 2022 the Midview Endowment Fund is proud to award two $1000 scholarships to graduating Midview High School seniors. The recipients will be contacted by May 30.
To be considered for the Midview Endowment Scholarship, the applicant must meet the following criteria: • A graduating senior from Midview High School • Have been accepted or applied for acceptance to a trade school or university • Enroll full-time at the institution in the fall of 2022 • Actively involved in community service, volunteerism or extracurricular activities • Provide three references from community service/volunteer organization representatives or from teachers, advisers, community members who know the applicant well Selection will be based on the applicant’s completion of the application and will focus on the students who have demonstrated their commitment to the community as well as those with unique circumstances that may make them eligible for financial assistance. The Filipiak family has an outstanding educational tradition with Midview Schools. Graduating 15 family members from Midview High School and six that have had careers as faculty members at Midview.
The Filipiak family is proud to continue their educational tradition by offering a $500 scholarship to a graduating Midview High senior. To be considered for the Filipiak Family Scholarship, the applicant must meet the following criteria: • A graduating senior from Midview High School • Have been accepted or applied for acceptance to a university. • Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. • A preference will be given to students planning to major in Education • A preference will be given to students planning to attend an accredited Ohio based, public institution for post-secondary education. • Enroll full-time at the institution in the fall of 2022. Selection will be based on the applicant’s completion of the application and will focus on the students who have demonstrated their commitment to the community as well as those with unique circumstances that may make them eligible for financial assistance.
